Post 13: Disney Sea

No timer today, I am at the New Yorker’s Cafe again.

Did not sleep well the night before. But I dragged my ass out and went to Disney. I had to get one one packed train, but the other side of the platform was pretty packed up.

When we go there, it was still early before the doors opened. Getting tickets, there was no line. Most got them at Lawsons…if you live in the Kanto region, you can get the tickets for about ¥1000 cheaper. Apparently, they don't check if you are from the Kanto (Tokyo) region. I am not sure, I just paid at the ticket counter.

Waiting to get into Disney Sea. They opened EXACTLY at 9am.

Waiting to get into Disney Sea. They opened EXACTLY at 9am.

Met up with Laura and checked out Disney Sea with her coworkers and their friends. There were a lot of people in line to get in, but surprisingly, the lines for waiting were not nearly as long as I thought. I did not ride the rollercoasters, but I did get on Indiana Jones, 20,000 (??) leagues, aaaaand….oh yeah, Nemo ride. That was cute.

We did notice people wave a lot. It feels weird not to wave back…..but there was SO MUCH WAVING.

Went to the restrooms which were immaculately clean….and a friendly sign to make sure you wash your hands, you filthy bastards.

Went to get lunch and we found a wallet someone had dropped on the side of the steps. I saw a lady cleaning the garbage bins watching me after I was scanning the grounds for someone I can pass this on to. I know Japan is generally safe, but being in a place with so many people from all over, I can’t think this here. So, Laura and I found someone at the bottom of the stairs. As I let the employee know that we found it on the steps, the lady cleaning the garbage kept knodding at the employee I handed the wallet to. I thought that a little odd, but then I thought, maybe the cleaning lady was keeping an eye on the wallet for the owner to come back.

Saw the guy that cleans things and makes sounds. It was super cute.

Laura and I went into the Little Mermaid castle which was cool. Very cool. Probably one of my favorite places at Disney Sea.

My feet hurt after walking so much. So here are a bunch of pictures I took from the visit to Disney Sea.
