Post 45: Mon. 5/27 - Chichibu rock-face museum, Shibuya izakaya

Went to Chichibu to check out a museum of rocks that look like human faces. It was pretty awesome. Also, I went out with some ex-coworkers to a cool Izakaya.

The train ride was gorgeous!

And a cute little station to boot.

I decided to walk the 30 min to get there. I would get there faster than waiting 30 min for a 10min bus ride. Some beautiful buildings, flowers, and scenery.

This is the second floor…the main museum area.

Here are some of the rocks that I really liked. OMG, it was hilarious. Also, I made a video on these where you can find right here.

They also had other neat rock formations and geodes.

The lady that owns the place showed me loads of magazines about the place. She was super nice and excited about showing me a bunch of these rocks.

Walked back to the station, was just a little on the chilly side, and I was more than fine with that.

Got into Ikebukuro and decided to walk home from there. It was a really nice day. Though I did go out to Shibuya to meet some friends in the evening. We went to a pretty famous Izakaya.
