Post 59: Tuesday 6/11 - Shinjuku and Shirokiya Izakaya

When we got up, we watched “朝一” a morning TV show in Japan…and it showed the FlyStation we were at JUST THE DAY BEFORE! They interviewed the guy that was our instructor and the reporter went and did it in front of the camera.

We went around Shinjuku, got bus tickets for the next day, and walked around.

But first a picture from my apartment window the beautiful day we are about to embark on.

This is the guy that was our instructor the day before! This interview was live. We could not believe it! We luckily missed it by a day!

See, even Japan has garbage on the street at times. We are all human.

More cool Shinjuku buildings.

Kinnikuman at Tokyu Hands. Lol.

More Shinjuku.

Book Off. I love this store, but it does get really crowded at times…so it does become irritating because the aisles are tiny. Heaven forbid someone have a backpack on (they almost always do).

Irritated and hungry. On our way to find the Shirokiya Izakaya. The cool back streets of Shinjuku.

Giant Donkihote.

Heading into Kabukicho.

Shirokiya! We had the place to ourselves….say for one other person….in a different section. It was great!

I ordered a MEGA Ginger Ale…in a cup that says “Man”. Lol.

Heading home through some cool Shinjuku Buildings.

Tucker is glad we are home.
