Post 8: Rainy AF, Tired AF

Timer set: 30 min.

Cloudy, cold, and rainy morning.

Cloudy, cold, and rainy morning.

Well, I did get a lot done yesterday. I went out to drop off a book to an ex-coworker yesterday and had some pretty damn good tempura.

Was not super greasy at all, but I think the lady owner person forgot to give me the dipping sauce. It was still really good. A total hole in the wall, but it must have been advertised on a foreign site, because a load of foreigners were in line. We ended up going to the Ueshima cafe, the same cafe I would go to in Musashino- Sakai. The caramel milk coffee is so good and the lady there was a total sweetheart. :)

Here is the book I gave him:

This is actually a REALLY good book. It is HUGE. They have one for women too, but I liked this one more. I did not do a side by side comparison. But there are a lot of images and exercise variations. I would HIGHLY recommend this if you are wanting to get into lifting weights or are bored of just the machines at the gym. So why am I giving to a coworker? Well, because I already have this book back in the states.

I ended up heading over to Sekaido to check on a pencil eraser that I saw on instagram, but I think they got their information wrong…they did were not using an eraser, it had to be a white pencil. Blah. When I got home, I was really tired and took a nap, because it was rainy and cold out. Tucker napped with me.

After that, I just cranked away at getting as much information on the car as I could.

I have a little note book that I will transfer all the information I got. These are the specs and details I want in the car, as well as what to expect in negotiations. The last thing that I need to consider is, because the prices will vary, not by much, but they will…I need to consider from the MSRP (while knowing the basic invoice price) how much to say I am willing to pay and start the negotiation. I have the prices from Edmunds.com and costcoauto.com. There was one other site too, but I can’t remember what that was. I also know the average price people pay in my area. So, everything is down on that.

It took a really long time for a little information, but at least I am VERY confident in the car I want: Subaru Forester Sport 2019. I was also looking at the Honda CR-V EX-L, but it has 82 Hwy miles less than the forester, and 52 City miles less. Almost all the same safety features. Honda seems to have more electronics. So, I decided on the Forester. I had a Forester before, so I know how it drives.

OH!!! I also finally ordered the train pass for Switzerland. I am going to go and do a little travel booklet for that trip this week too. I have also picked out where I am going to go. Loads of train rides and I can pack my own lunch. So, I am going to bring my little bento bag. :)

I love blue skies, but sometimes a cloudy evening can make staying in warm and snuggly.

Rainy and cold evening.

Rainy and cold evening.

OH! The co-worker I met up with yesterday told me that her interview went well. YAY!
